    On Dec. 18, 2015, Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi voted in favor of a draft resolution of the United Nations Security Council on Syria. With the issue of terrorism getting more and more severe in recent years, the situation in Syria may finally be improving.

    Just like the saying "waiting for the other shoe to drop," the Syrian people are waiting for peace to come—waiting for the “shoe” to inevitably drop. Though people in Syria have different stances on the crisis, everyone is hoping to resolve this miserable situation as soon as possible. 2016 is on its way; how much longer will they still have to wait?
