The aerial photos show that hundreds of excavators and heavy-duty machines are working intensively day and night at the landslide site in south China’s Shenzhen on December 22, 2015.

As of December 23, over 170 large-scale construction machines have made four rescue passages at the industrial park, where over 30 buildings were destroyed in the massive landslide.

Nearly 3,000 rescuers, including the Chinese paramilitary soldiers, police, and firefighters, have been mobilized to search for dozens of people still missing. Vital life signals are detected at the site and the rescue work is ongoing actively.
