It’s hard to believe that simply living in a very wide territory can be a useful tool for cheating, but because of its large area, students in eastern Russia take national exams nine hours earlier than students in western Russia. In the 2013 national college entrance examination, students in the east posted the questions online after taking their exams so that students in the west could read the questions before the test.
