A pair of giant pandas are set to leave China for their new home in South Korea on a 15-year lease.

Their new home will be a 33-hundred-square-meter facility at a theme park near Seoul.

An agreement for the loan of the pandas was inked during Premier Li Keqiang's visit to South Korea last year.

The animals themselves have undergone many health tests as part of a one month quarantine.

Both are said to be in good health.

3-year-old male Yuan Xin is described as being lively and outgoing, while the 2-year-old female Hua Ni is characterized as a "good girl," with a slightly introverted character.
