    Pu'er Literature Won Awards at the Annual Meeting of Outstanding Literary Creations in Eastern Yunnan

    The Annual Meeting of Outstanding Literary Creations in Eastern Yunnan for 2015 was recently held in Wenshan Prefecture in Yunnan Province. Over 80 literary figures from 8 prefecture-level cities in eastern Yunnan Province attended the meeting.

    At the meeting a total of 18 outstanding publications were commended, and so were 24 outstanding editors. Specifically, the magazine "The Sun River," run by the Federation of Literary and Art Circles of Pu'er City, and the magazine "Wa Mountain," run by the Federation of Literary and Art Circles of Ximeng County, won the Outstanding Periodical Award of Yunnan Provincial literature publications, while Chai Fengying from the Federation of Literary and Art Circles of Mojiang County and Wang Xiaoyue from the Federation of Literary and Art Circles of Jingdong County (who is also a member of the Association of Writers of Yunnan Province, an editor of the bimonthly publication Yinsheng Culture run by the Federation of Literary and Art Circles of Jingdong County, and an executive editor of the magazine "Jingdong Pictorial") won the Outstanding Editor Award.
