Recently, Simao District was honored with title of the third batch of model city in Yunnan Province. It was its third consecutive time to win the honorary title of “Provincial Model City”.

Since the start of creating the third batch of civilized city in Yunnan Province, Simao District had unswervingly integrated the construction of model city into the big picture of Scientific Development, Enrich-People-and-Strengthen-District Policy and Harmony Building Program.
