Man Turns Beijing Smog into Building Bricks
A man turns smog into building blocks.

A young man from Shenzhen has come up with a creative idea to raise social awareness of climate change: He turns smog into building blocks. The man has spent 100 days in Beijing collecting smog and eventually compressed the dust into a “brick”. He plans to advocate these blocks as building materials in Beijing.

During the 100 days, the masked man carried with him an industrial vacuum cleaner wherever he visited in Beijing. The power of vacuum cleaner can last for four days with every single charge, with a capacity of sucking in the amount of air that 62 people breathe in every day.
