On November 24, Pu’er City was honored with a title of “National Forest City” at the Symposium on the Construction of Forest City in 2015 jointly held by the State Forestry Administration of the People’s Republic of China, the CPPCC Committee of Population, Resources and Environment, and the Economic Daily in Xuancheng City, Anhui Province.

In current China, 96 cities have been honored with the title of “National Forest City” and 78 ones are making great efforts for the honor.
