On November 13, the national wetland expert group visited Laohekou, Xiangyang to evaluate the work of applying for the status of national wetland park for the Xipaizi River.
With a total area of 2,217 hectares and a wetland area of 2,088 hectares, Xipaizi River Wetland Park is connected to Danjiangkou Reservoir and Yindan Canal, the water source of the Middle Route Project of South-to-North Water Transfer.
