Workers from the water and environmental management are busy sprinkling chlorine powder into the water near the Xiling Bridge in West Lake in east China's Zhejiang province on April 14, 2016. As temperatures go up in spring, the lotus begins to shoot forth. However, grass carps, bream fish and crucian carps prefer eating sprouts. So the staff uses the chlorine powder to get rid of the moss and small fish.
