    Anzhen Fort

Anzhen Fort is one of the best-preserved ancient ram-stone buildings in Fujian province. Situated in Yangtou Village, which is located in the city of Yong’an, the fort was built in 1885 during the Qing dynasty. It covers an area of 10,000 square meters, including 5,800 square meters of buildings.

Facing east, the fort is built along the mountains, with a rectangular front yard and a semicircle-shaped back area. There are 360 rooms, 12 kitchens and five wells in the fort, which can accommodate thousands of people.
