    China sees travel peak during New Year holiday

    China's railway system witnessed a travel peak during the 2016 New Year's holiday.

    An estimated 9.2 million of journeys have been made during the first day of the 3-day holiday.

    Railway authorities added an extra 133 trains to the schedule to help ease the travel pressure.
