By including either himself or a travel companion into the shot, the photographer is able to add an element of scale to his images - particular when showing the expanse of the Canadian mountains.

In the future, he hopes to travel to even more remote locations, and is currently looking for Canadian islands to shoot on.

Stevin said: 'There are several locations I love. Within the parks are some amazing locations and within the back-country you see countless things.'
