4. The agreement of AIIB accelerates changes in international financial order
On June 29, 57 state members attended the signing ceremony for the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) Agreement; On Dec. 25, AIIB was formally established. On July 21, the New Development Bank of the BRICS countries officially opened in Shanghai. On Nov. 30, the International Monetary Fund Executive Board decided to include the renminbi as a special drawing rights currency. On Dec. 18, the United States Congress finally passed the share of IMF and governance reform program.
