Now people can enjoy a ride on the cleverly constructed attractions including a ferris wheel and paddle boats

An underground theme park is hidden inside one of the oldest salt mines in the world - situated in Romania.

The mines were dug by medieval men to harvest medicinal salt, but today the Salina Turda salt mine complex is a theme park and houses a ferris wheel, an amphitheatre, a bowling alley, mini golf, and an underground lake with paddle and row boats.

The deepest mine is 393 ft (120 metres) below ground and while labourers previously chipped away at the salt before pulling it to the surface, now people can enjoy a ride on the cleverly constructed attractions.
