China's first self-developed polar ATV debuts in South Pole

Recently, China's first self-developed polar all-terrain vehicle conducted successfully test run operation at Zhongshan Station in South Pole.

A number of technological innovations have been made in the ATV to fit the special climate and geographical environment of Antarctica. The vehicle is also amphibious which satisfy the needs of transportation, scientific investigation and emergency rescue.
