Hermanus is known as the best land-based whale-watching destination in the world, because the southern right whales return to this bay during the calving and mating season every year. At the invitation of South African President Jacob Zuma, Chinese President Xi Jinping will pay a state visit to South Africa from Dec. 2 to 5, and chair the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) in Johannesburg. South Africa is called Rainbow Nation, which is a not only a term to describe that different people could live peacefully in post-apartheid South Africa, but also an expression reflecting the beauty of the country.
