A general view of an archaeological site in Zhengzhou, Central China’s Henan province, Jan 5, 2015. Archaeologists have unearthed a “middle city” at the site, which has a large area composed of 40 sacrificial pits in good order. Archaeologists also found building foundations of a palace in early Shang Dynasty (1600 BC to 1046 BC), covering an area of 3,000 square meters. Henan is an important location of the Shang and Zhou dynasties with a lot of historical relics. [Photo: China News Service/Wang Zhongju]
