    630 monks walk for charity in Hangzhou

    Monks walk in a line during an event to mark the birthday of Buddha Sakyamuni in Hangzhou city, capital of East China’s Zhejiang province, May 25, 2015. Some 630 monks from temples in Hangzhou put on matching robes, bamboo hats and straw sandals, held bowls, and walked around temples to pray for peace and raise funds. The event raised 468,000 yuan ($75,400) that will be donated to the Zhejiang Charity Foundation. This is the seventh time monks in Hangzhou have held a charity walk.
