Zhou, 27, gave up his job this summer to realize his dream of riding to Tibet from Chengdu, capital of southwest China's Sichuan Province. The year of 2014 marks the 60th anniversary of the opening of the Qinghai-Tibet highway. The highway, linking Xining, capital city of Qinghai province, and Lhasa, capital of the Tibet Autonomous Region, is a lifeline for Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
