The restaurant opened 28 years ago and has served numerous tourists travelling along the Qinghai-Tibet highway, said Wang Huijun. The year of 2014 marks the 60th anniversary of the opening of the Qinghai-Tibet highway. The highway, linking Xining, capital city of Qinghai province, and Lhasa, capital of the Tibet Autonomous Region, is a lifeline for Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
