    The surrender of Japanese troops in Zhengzhou and Luohe

    Hu Zhongnan, Commander-in-Chief of the 1st War Area, was authorized to accept the surrender of Japanese 22th Army, 110th Division, 6th Cavalry Regiment and 10th Independent Cavalry Regiment. Hu accepted the surrender of Takashi Takamori, representative from the Empire of Japan, in Zhengzhou on Sept. 22, 1945.

    Liu Zhi, Commander-in-Chief of the 5th War Area, was authorized to accept the surrender of Japanese 115th Division, Japanese 92th Independent Brigade, Japanese 4th, 13th 14th Independent Cavalry Regiments. On Sep. 20, 1945, Liu accepted the surrender of Takashi Takamori, representative from the Empire of Japan, in Luohe, Central China’s Henan province.
