    Lu Han, Commander-in-Chief of Chinese 1st Front Army, was authorized to accept the surrender of Japanese 38th Army, Japanese 21st Division, Japanese 22nd Division and Japanese 34th Infantry Brigade group in Hanoi, Vietnam. On September 28, Lu Han received the surrender of Yuitsu Tsuchihashi, representative from the Empire of Japan.
