The water level of the Jialing River rises in Ciqikou ancient town in the Shapingba District of Chongqing, southwest China, Sept. 12, 2014. Persistant rainfall in the upstream area pushed water levels of the Yangtze River and Jialing River. The flood peak of the Yangtze River and Jialing River passed Chongqing on Sept. 12 with water level rising 2 meters and 5 meters respectively, both under the warning line. (Xinhua/Zhou Hui)
