TIANJIN, Sept. 10 -- Chinese Premier Li Keqiang on Wednesday called for the world to peacefully solve regional conflicts and hotspot issues through dialogue, saying China is resolute in following the path of peaceful development.

The premier's remarks came in his keynote speech at the Annual Meeting of the New Champions 2014, which opened Wednesday afternoon in north China's port city of Tianjin.

Premier Li said countries now live in an era defined by deepening economic globalization and are increasingly depending on one another in interests and sharing their destinies closely.

China stands ready to deepen cooperation with its Asian neighbors, properly handle differences to safeguard peace, he said.

With many destabilizing and uncertain factors in the world economy, China opposes protectionism in all its forms or any trade war, and advocate the building of an open, fair and integrated global market, Li said.

China supports the establishment of both multilateral free trade arrangements and bilateral FTAs, in order to build a high-standard FTA network that is globally oriented, the premier said.

"Instead of 'I win, you lose' or a 'zero-sum game', we need win-win or all-win, which ensures mutual benefit," Li said. "Only in this way could the world prosper and advance forward."
