    World's first 3D pterosaur egg unearthed in Xinjiang

    After ten years' field study, Chinese scientists have found the world's largest cluster of cretaceous pterosaur fossils in Hami, northeast China's Xinjiang. About 40 individual pterosaurs and five intact eggs were unearthed on the sites. Previously, only four individual flattened pterosaur eggs had been discovered by scientists.
