Villagers enjoy fun sports meet in terraced fields in Chongyi, E China's Jiangxi

Recently, villagers in Shangbao township, Chongyi county, Ganzhou city of east China's Jiangxi Province took part in a fun sports meet held in the scenic Shangbao Terraced Fields.

The event brought together 17 teams from 16 townships and communities across Chongyi county.

Participants engaged in playful competitions such as pulling, carrying, and transplanting rice seedlings, catching fish, climbing terraced fields, and competing in tug-of-war matches in muddy paddy fields.

By transforming traditional farming activities into fun and competitive experiences, the sports meet offered a fresh take on China's agrarian heritage while promoting physical fitness and community engagement.
