Harvesters reap wheat in Jingjiang, E China's Jiangsu Province

The wheat harvest season is underway in east China's Jiangsu Province. At a family farm in Fumin village, Xieqiao town, Jingjiang city in the province, two combine harvesters were working in the fields. According to Song Xuxian, head of the farm, they will finish reaping the wheat planted on 1,200 mu (80 hectares) of farmland before June 4. Statistics from the agriculture department of Jingjiang city showed that as of May 29, wheat planted on nearly 20,000 mu of farmland had been harvested in the city.
