On October 26, two white-throated kingfishers were seen in the river where one of them had been soaked and stuck in the bitter cold water. A youngster jumped into the river without hesitation. Thus the white-throated kingfishers were saved. This happened near the Innovation Park of Dongsa Group in Heping Village, Mengxian Town, Ning’er County, Pu’er City.
