Tourism development should not be pursued at expense of environment: Xi

HANGZHOU, April 1 (Xinhua) -- Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, said tourism development should not be pursued at the expense of environment.

Xi made the remarks while visiting the Xixi National Wetland Park in Hangzhou, east China's Zhejiang Province Tuesday.
