A major exhibition of Chinese cultural relics that have been returned from overseas since the founding of the People's Republic of China opened at Beijing's National Museum of China on Sept. 17.

The exhibition brings together more than 600 cultural relics from 12 provinces and 18 cultural and museum-related institutions in China. It is divided into four parts to help honor the country's ongoing revitalization.
