9. Evacuation of Chinese and foreign nationals from Yemen
During a mission to the Gulf of Aden and the waters of Somalia, the Navy escort fleet picked up 124 Chinese citizens from Yemen on March 29, 2015. Later, the fleet, sending three battleships, evacuated 621 Chinese citizens and helped evacuate 276 foreigners from 15 countries.
