    (Xinhua)    14:36, January 31, 2019

    CHINA-ANHUI-HEFEI-BULLET TRAIN-SHUNTING OPERATION (CN)

Wang Rui, a bullet train driver, works on a bullet train at the maintenance station of Hefei South Railway Station in Hefei, east China's Anhui Province, Jan. 29, 2019. Wang, having 20-year work experiences, is responsible for shunting operation for bullet trains at the maintenance station of Hefei South Railway Station. Wang and his colleagues are called "snails", as the bullet trains are allowed to run at maximum 30 kilometers per hour for shunting operation, much slower than the trains under normal circumstances. Wang and his colleagues received more than 40 shunting tasks per night due to the Spring Festival travel rush. (Xinhua/Liu Junxi)
