Journalists from 60 Chinese mainstream media outlets gathered in the historical city of Zhangye, northwest China’s Gansu Province, during an activity held on Sept. 5, 2018.
Zhangye, lying in the center of the Hexi Corridor, was an important city on the ancient Silk Road. It boasts a long history, as well as unique culture and incredible natural scenery.
The Zhangye Danxia National Geopark, stretching more than 10 square kilometers, is known for its peculiarly shaped and brightly colored landforms.
