    The brand value of Pu’er Tea reaches RMB61.273 billion

    According to “2016 China Brand Value Assessment Information Launch Event,” the brand value of the core production area of geographical indication products of “Pu’er Tea” in Pu’er, Lincang, and Xishuangbanna in Yunnan Province is assessed as RMB61.273 billion.

    “2016 China Brand Value Assessment Information Launch Event” was co-sponsored by China Council for Brand Development, the Economic Daily Press, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, China Appraisal Society and so on. This is the fourth consecutive year when China has started to hold such a brand value launch event.
