On December 22, a joint acceptance team formed by General Administration of Customs, Ministry of Finance, State Administration of Taxation, and State Administration of Foreign Exchange made an announcement in Xiangyang: Xiangyang Bonded Logistics Center (Type B) has already passed the acceptance and will officially close to run.

The establishment and operation of the first bonded logistics center (Type B) in Xiangyang will strongly push forward Xiangyang City and the northwestern region of Hubei Province to quicken the development of export-oriented economy. It will be of great significance to further improve urban functions, enhance investment environment, elevate comprehensive competitiveness of the city, and quicken the economic development in central and western regions.
