In October, the national dance poem Awa People Singing New Songs will be premiered. It is a new creation of the Ethnic Cultural Task Force from Ximeng Wazu Autonomous County of Pu’er City.

It is another literary works of national dance poems created in Pu’er following Si Gang Li and The Tribe of Wa. Against the backdrop of overcoming poverty and assaulting fortified positions, the construction of rural affordable housing and the 67th anniversary of the founding of new China, the entire performance vividly interpreted the earth-shaking changes that have taken place in Washan Mountain.
