A special "China Pavilion" will be presented to the Kazakh people during the "2016 Experience China" event, a large-scale cultural festival launched in Kazakhstan on Aug. 26. The event aims to strengthen ties between China and Kazakhstan.

The 270-square-meter China Pavilion is located within the National Library of Kazakhstan. It takes the form a comprehensive study room featuring more than 7,000 books and 995 photo albums donated by China's State Council Information Office and local governments, all intended to introduce the Kazakh people to Chinese culture.

The "2016 Experience China" event will offer ancient Chinese instrument performance, tea ceremonies and an exhibition of traditional Chinese paintings. In addition to cultural exchange, three other exhibition areas will showcase the way intelligent manufacturing has changed urban planning, industry and daily life in China, demonstrating China’s notions of innovative, coordinated, green, open and shared development.
