Recently, two hotels in Pu'er were honored as "Five-leaf Green Hotels". The expert panel of the Yunnan Green Hotel Work Committee reviewed the four enterprises applying for the status of "Four-leaf Green Hotel" and "Five-leaf Green Hotel" in Simao District, Pu'er. Consequently, Tianyi Hotel and Pu'er Sheng'andi Hotel were rated as "Two-leaf Green Hotel" and "Four-leaf Green Hotel" respectively. Authorized by the National Green Hotel Work Committee, the Yunnan Green Hotel Work Committee rated "Pu'er Jinfeng Hotel" and "Pu'er Kaiyuan Meizihu Hot Spring Hotel" as "Five-leaf Green Hotels".

Green hotels refer to the hotels upholding the concept of environmental protection, health and safety, adhering to green management, advocating green consumption, protecting ecology and rationally using resources. "Five-leaf Green Hotels" are the top green hotels.
