First panda baby born in Shanghai research center turns 1 month old

One month after its birth in the China Conservation and Research Center for Giant Pandas, located in Shanghai, the center's first baby panda is celebrating a major milestone. Already, the cub's color has changed from pink to black and white. The cub's eyes are still closed, but they will likely open within 10 days.

Starting now, visitors to the park will be able to see the panda baby, albeit during limited hours. However, those who hope to see the mother and baby together will have to wait at least two more months. The park has also set up a live broadcasting window so that visitors can watch the baby remotely.
