Li Hongxiao is a 35 years old man of talent from a village in Dazu, China’s southwestern Chongqing. Li began to learn lion dancing when he was eight. To compete with other lion dancing teams, Li, who makes a living by performing lion dancing, made the dancing more challenging by practicing the skill of lifting up heavy things with his teeth.

On March 3, 2016, Li Hongxiao successfully lifted 24 wooden benches weighing 75 kilograms for 10 seconds, breaking the Guinness Record created by himself in 2012 — 23 wooden benches weighing 70 kilograms. It was never easy to accomplish a skill like this. Li runs 3 kilometers, chews ice cubes and olives to practice his teeth every day, and he goes to the park on a daily basis to lift 20 benches.

Getting more media coverage, he has become more famous than ever. Li Hongxiao has founded his own media company and there are five students who learn the talent from him. Li and his students would go to other cities to perform, and he sometimes would also go to martial arts classes to teach little kid for free.
