Dead stranded sperm whale brought ashore in E China

A dead stranded sperm whale, around 16-meter in length and weighing over 25 tons, was brought ashore in east China's Jiangsu province on Feb. 16, 2016.

Two dead stranded sperm whales were seen at coastal area of Yangkougang Economic Development Zone of Rudong county, east China's Jiangsu province on Feb. 14 and 15.

The other dead sperm whale will be brought ashore according to tidal conditions. Local authorities will deal with the two dead sperm whales according to regulations and advice from experts.
