On January 28, Governor of Shaanxi Province Lou Qinjian met with Samsung SDI President Zhao Nancheng, Samsung Group Greater China President Zhang Yuanji and their delegation in Xi’an. Shangguan Jiqing, Acting Mayor of Xi’an, also met with those visitors.

Both sides exchanged views on the implementation of Samsung SDI-ARN Automobile Power Battery Project and the future development of the business, agreeing to jointly promote the implementation of the project smoothly in Shaanxi. Mr. Lou Qinjian said that Shaanxi will as always create a sound environment for the business, and hoped that SDI can meet the requirements of China’s new energy automobile market and further improve its core competitiveness of products by strengthening its research and development.

Zhao Hongzhuan, Member of the Standing Committee of Xi’an Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the CPC Working Committee of Xi'an Hi-tech Industries Development Zone attended the meeting.
