Construction of 1st pumping vessel in front of Three Gorges Dam finished

Photo taken on Feb. 16, 2016 shows the first pumping vessel in front of the Three Gorges Dam in Zigui, central China's Hubei Province. The construction of the first pumping vessel in front of Three Gorges Dam was finished on Tuesday. The pumping station, which consists of a vessel and a water transmission pipe with all-direction flexible joint, is able to shift with the fluctuation of water level. (Xinhua/Chen Xianfeng)
