    Glass bridge across the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon to open to public in first half of 2016

    The glass bridge across the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon in central China's Hunan province is about to open to public in the first half of 2016. Spanning a total of 430 meters, the bridge is 375 meters long, 6 meters wide and 300 meters above the valley floor. This transparent glass bridge ranks first globally in both length and height. It can hold 800 people. The glass bridge was successfully closed on Dec. 3, 2015.
