WASHINGTON, Dec. 12 -- At least one person was shot after an armed man entered a U.S. retail giant Walmart store in the borough of East Stroudsberg, Pennsylvania, local media reported Sunday.

The suspect walked into the store late Saturday night with an assault-style weapon and several handguns, WNEP Channel 16 reported. The person shot was not identified.

Police and ambulances have rushed to the scene.
