Chinese Premier Li Keqiang made six suggestions for cooperation among the 10 ASEAN countries and China, Japan and South Korea, during a meeting with East Asian leaders on November 21, 2015, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

For better cooperation, the Chinese premier suggested that the 10-plus-3 countries should accelerate regional economic integration, maintain financial stability, upgrade interconnectivity, establish collaboration on production capacity, deepen cooperation on agriculture and poverty reduction, and expand cultural communication.

In his address, Li also pushed member countries to speed up talks on the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) so an agreement can be reached in 2016.

He added that China holds an open attitude to the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement which includes a number of countries like the U.S., Japan and South Korea.
