Amputee courier fights for future in Anhui

Zhang Rihui, 59, is a courier in Yangxi town, Jixi county of east China's Anhui Province. He delivers packages in surrounding villages. Different from other couriers, he cannot stand up and only moves by knees because he has suffered from muscle atrophy since birth.

He started to work as a courier through friends. He needs to ride an electric bicycle for 30 kilometers every day. Facing questions people often ask, he said, "Delivering packages is a hard work, I believe that I can do it as well as others if I work hard enough."

Hard-working and careful, he has never lost one package. He has won praises and trust from customers these years. "Delivering every package safely to people every day makes me contented," he said.
