Over 1,500 people formed a giant pattern of a pair of lungs in a smog-cloaked Beijing on Nov 15, breaking the Guinness world record of the largest human image of an organ.
The event, initiated by a health research center, was held in Beijing Garden Expo in Fengtai District. Participants came from universities and non-profit social organizations.
The aim of the event is to call people's attention to lung health, said a Mr Chen, organizer of the activity.
