Ceremony for yellow rice wine winter brewing season held in E China's Shaoxing (6)

A ceremony to celebrate the brewing of yellow rice wine is held in Shaoxing, east China's Zhejiang Province, on Nov. 8, 2015, also the 19th solar term--the Beginning of Winter. As winter begins, it comes to the best season of a year for brewing rice wine in Shaoxing. With a history of more than 2,500 years, Shaoxing rice wine is still produced with traditional method of brewing, which was listed as a national intangible cultural heritage in 2006. (Xinhua/Xu Yu)
